There's just something to be said for classic style games that you play together with friends.
I'm all about the latest video games no matter what system all about online play all that stuff. But there's really something special when you can get a game that can easily be understood by anyone.
No matter the age can be easily played by anyone no matter how familiar they are with video games. Because the controls are so simple, it's just such a wonderful experience to have. It's a really good bonding experience. It's something you can passively play and still greatly enjoy.
It's just an excuse to have fun with friends or family and that is why I loved the original clubhouse game so much. It's exactly why I love Clubhouse Games 51 Worldwide Classics again. I love video games in general of all types of all genres of all platforms.
But there's just something really nice about such a straightforward experience something that you could just jump right into almost everybody's on the same page. If they're not it only takes a couple seconds to get everybody up to speed and then you just play.
It's just simple fun and it really makes me feel really good. I have such a great time with the people. I'm playing with and part of that experience is the game that you're playing. It is just being with others and clubhouse games 51 world wide classics lets you do that.
Obviously you can play online or you can play local, because of circumstances I have not been able to play local. But I've certainly played a lot online. There's nothing better I can say about it.

It just legitimately makes me smile, I spend most of my time laughing, smiling, joking around. It just feels really good and I get legitimately excited to jump back in and play more. There's certainly no shortage of games to enjoy in clubhouse games on switch.
It's a whole bunch of stuff that you're mostly familiar with or will take you just a few seconds to learn six ball puzzle, backgammon, battle tanks, blackjack, bowling, dominoes, golf, mahjong, shogi, a speed toy curling a whole bunch of stuff.
There's a whole bunch of different things in there and some of them you may know from other times you've played in real life other ones. You've probably heard of there's other ones still that you might not know by the name. But when you play them you realize that they're a generic version of another game that's already popular out there.
So there's plenty of stuff to play and obviously in any collection of a whole bunch of games. You know a Mario Party or a wario ware or something like that there are going to be games that you love and games that you don't really play all that much, that's the same here in clubhouse games.
But with the selection of fifty-one titles, you're gonna have a core
group of games that you're going to keep going back too and you and your
friends are gonna get into sync with them are you.
Online players are gonna get into them and you those are the ones you're gonna have fun with, you're gonna keep going back to them and the amount of fun that those games can provide is pretty much endless.
When you think about like board games or card games in general, you buy them once and you play them over and over again when you have friends over you play. When families over you play, maybe you have a game night every week and you play them. You just don't get tired of them.
Because it's not just about the game itself. It's about the experience back and forth and clubhouse games really lets you get that experience about through a video game well. I love the package overall.

There's certainly some things that are worth griping about there's. Some restrictions for certain games that I just don't understand like bowling why is bowling only two-player.
I don't understand why it's not at least a four player game. I don't understand the decision-making. There I don't understand why they went with two-player.
But it is what it is you know every once in a while or fairly often. I
guess Nintendo makes some decisions that make you scratch your head and you're
like man everything else is so good why is this one thing like this and rolling
is the one that comes to mind.
There's other stuff in there, a few other games that control a little oddly maybe. But it's that's nothing that you can't get used to over time. But by and large it's a fantastic package really.
There everything plays well, everything feels good, everything has the little touches and flourishes that make it just a little bit more enjoyable and it just feels like a really solid package overall now.
As I've said the social aspect of these sort of games is really important and when you're playing clubhouse games fifty-one worldwide classics locally with friends, you just talk to them in real life. When it comes to online the game has chat.
But it's through these sort online mobile app. So I know that's not everybody's favorite. It's not the solution we would all like. But it is an option that's there so if you have friends that use the app then you're good. I've confirmed this with someone else.
What I don't know is if it works with strangers. Because we haven't played online with strangers. But yeah, the voice chat is there and voice chat.

I think is really important for this kind of game and not because you're working with someone. Because you converse with each other when you're playing these kind of games in real life.
So having some sort of option, is good. I wish it was native voice chat just to make it that much easier. Because you're gonna have all age ranges and different types of people playing this game and you know you don't want to add in another layer of difficulty when you're just trying to talk to one another.
So for those who use this which online app, it should be fine. I personally never use it. I'm always using discord lately. So that's how I was talking with other players when I was playing Clubhouse Games 51 Worldwide Classics online and again I find that part really important.
Because it keeps the keeps the fun of the game going the game in and out
in and of itself is fun.
The conversation you have with friends is just as fun and when you have something to facilitate it like these games as the background.
It's just that much more enjoyable speaking of online play it works pretty much flawlessly. When you're playing with friends, you know you just talk about what you want to pick and you pick it and you go into it.
When you're playing with strangers, what you do is you go in and you select. I believe three different games that you want to play and it will find those games online that are being played are people looking to play those games and match you up with them.
If you're going with strangers or you can just do random, I believe to hop into whatever you want instantly. So there's gonna be tons of people playing all different types of games. So if you're looking to play with strangers that should be pretty easy.

Even, I would imagine the games with the most limited fanbase will still have thousands upon thousands of people playing and looking for online action as far as how the oil line action goes.
I have had a near-flawless experience when I was playing with friends. I never had any issue at all. There was no issues with lag that I can recall. I'd I haven't seen anything like.
I also played with the Nintendo treehouse people and it was a day where a whole bunch of press were hopping online and going into play.
I encountered one game, where I had very noticeable lag and unfortunately it was a game where that really hinders the experience.
I was playing the arcade baseball game and one person is pitching and one person swinging. With lag between, when I was trying to swing the bat and actually when the pitch was thrown.
I couldn't hit it and neither could the other player. So, I would imagine that is related to the Nintendo treehouse session and won't be indicative of just regular online play. Unless you're with somebody who has a very bad connection which would happen in any game.
But yeah when I was playing with other friends, I didn't have any issues at all. The game played absolutely fine. So that's the experience I had.
Hopefully that's the experience you will have as well. I can only tell you my own experience. I can't predict what's gonna happen when you play this game.
But my online play overall was really really good. I will say sadly when
it comes to online play and local multiplayer it is missing a feature that was
in the original clubhouse games on a DS and that was the little chat rooms that
you could hop into with people.
I used to do that all the time and local multiplayer send friends messages or little doodles or whatever just little jokes.
We used to send like them secretly to one another. We would laugh and you know harass each other. See you know like friends do sadly that is not here which makes me very disappointed.
Because I really loved that aspect of the original, but obviously now you're doing voice chat. So I'm guessing in 10 of things well if the boys chat options are there. We don't need something like that and they're technically right.

But I am still sad to see it not included. Because that's a fun part of my are a big part of my memories of the original and part of my fondness of the original comes from that.
I understand the decision and it's not something I would imagine. A lot of people are gonna care about or even know existed. But for the die-hard clubhouse fan, our Clubhouse games fans that were on a DS you might be sad to know that's not included.
But overall Clubhouse Games 51 Worldwide Classics is a phenomenal experience. it's pretty much cut and dry when you look at the game. You see a collection of board games card games. Some other arcade style games and that's exactly what you get you play them online, and locally.
They're all done really well. They feel good to play. There's nothing complicated going on. It's just fun, it's great to have like this which is such a great platform for a collection like this. A collection of games that are tried-and-true collection of games that everybody already knows about.
It's just such a great platform to to have this kind of collection on. Because the switch can be played on TV or the switch can be played handheld or you can put it out in front of people handheld or whatever the case may be.
It's just such a great facilitator for easy to play games and games that anybody can get into. They all just feel really fun, there's the mosaic mode as well.
Where you put together multiple switches to expand some of the games. Obviously I haven't had the chance to try that out, because of my situation.
But another great thing to do for those who are gonna play this game locally. But whether you're playing locally or online, it's a fantastic collection. There's plenty there's stuff in, there you can play solo as well. I mean you can play plenty of its solo.
But you know there's only gonna be so many games that are fun solo, where they're obviously gonna be more fun multiplayer. I don't know, let's say yahtzee or I'm sorry yacht dice by yourself and you're up against the computer. It's not gonna be as fun as playing with other people.
But then you have something like solitaire where it doesn't matter. So yeah obviously a collection that is focused on those who are gonna be playing multiplayer be it online or locally. But there's some fun to have single-player.
I would imagine anyone getting Clubhouse Games 51 Worldwide Classics is gonna be focused on the multiplayer and it really is a joy. I would argue that it's a must-have for a switch. It's like I said such a good fit and there's so many great games in there.
This is a game just like the original co-op game. So I'm gonna keep going
back to, I keep going back to it and anybody can pick it up and play it.
I'm just very excited for the game to actually come out. So my whole group of friends and family can get in and we can hop online and play these games.
I'm legitimately excited to get into it. Because what I played is great, it's just as great as the original. I just really want to get into this experience with friends for me. That's what it's all about and I know we're gonna have a blast with it.
