Joy Cons vs Pro Controller Nintendo Switch - Which is Best Both Them

Joy Cons vs Pro Controller Nintendo Switch - Which is Best Both Them.

So the Nintendo switch has been out for about a year and a half.

I got it on launch date March 2017 and since then I played about many games and easily hundreds of hours of gameplay different games.

I've only been using the joy cons that came with a Nintendo switch.

But everybody of course is like you gotta use the the pro controller Nintendo Switch. If you know you're a pro gamer and everything you know you play Xbox or Playstation, you gotta get the pro controller.

They have this kind of on the Wii U. Basically, I think it's pretty much the exact same design are more or less. There's a few changes here and there . But I've just been using the joy cons until I don't know about a week or two ago then I got the pro controller.

So I wanted to really talk about the differences between the two. Because originally the joy cons that came with a Nintendo switch.

They're the new thing and they're ten dollars more expensive than the pro controller. I figured they're ten dollars more expensive. Because these can be used as one controller like this or two controllers like that and then you instantly have co-op.

It's Wireless have two batteries in it, instead of just one. This has one internal battery, these have two internal batteries and all that.

So that's why I figured it was more expensive but just only ten bucks. You know no big deal, so I finally got the pro controller played some legend zelda breath of the wild. Mostly just with a pro controller i got it.

Because the joy cons were starting to mess up specifically the left joy con. So the right joy con was still fine when i'm playing with both of them.

My character which is automatically close to left. Even though the stick wasn't pointing to the left and it's not. It doesn't even look like out of place or anything.

I try to recap calibrate the controller and do bunch of different stuff, nothing's worked. So it's like alright i guess it's time to get a new controller.

Everybody's talking about Pro Controller. So i got it and yeah it feels ok definitely better than Joy Con or even on this little.

You know controller holder that you can get by the way, you have to get this separately. Anyways back to the pro controller.

So I got the pro controller has USB type-c plug already as the internal battery. It has NFC pinging, so you can use the Knievel's just like the joy con on the downside well.

I don't know, if it's like muscle memory or something. But once I got this type of controller, I just immediately started pressing this button naturally instead of this button. Because I Nintendo games AAA over here.

You will here the screen shot and home buttons are way down here. So you don't accidentally press them right here, screenshot and home buttons are right.

Next to the plus and minus buttons which is like start and select. So I always accidentally mix up the two.

They're all circles with just like a little a minus indented into it and a plus indents it into the buttons. With this the plus and minus is an actual plus and minus on the controller.

So you can actually feel when you have a plus and minus on the joy cons and you kind of have like guess with the pro controller.

They're right next to each other super annoying and then there's a d-pad. There's always been issues with a d-pad with controllers like this. But a one solid d-pad like this is really bad cheap just don't do it.

If you're making a controller, because sometimes I press up and since it's one solid piece it presses to the right or something. I'm like wait, I don't press to the right, I press up. But it's just too stiff, I guess. So it's not accurate enough.

But with a joy con the d-pad is four separate buttons. Because you know when you switch it over and to co-op then you got to do four separate buttons just like this.

You use a joy con instead of the d-pad. So it makes more sense like that. But still this d-pad is bad the other thing that I had issues with was the motion controls.

I didn't think I would have any issues with motion controls. Because you know the PlayStation 4 has motion controls, the PlayStation 3 even added motion controls. If I agree call correctly.

So of course I was using the joy con with this little controller adapter or whatever with and without it. So playing on screen and actually connected to the switch and the motion controls are super good with the joy con can pretty sensitive.

But when I got the pro controller, I would just naturally go to the the joystick. Because the motion controls weren't as sensitive like if I was playing legend zelda breath of the wild.

I'm you know using the bow and arrow. I have to like really go forward or whatever to aim where with this I'll I can just kind of move it and it like really detects it. But I guess that's also another reason that these are more expensive.

There's probably motion controls in both of them in addition to batteries and both of them and all that. The last thing I have to say is just about the shoulder buttons. These are like actual clicky the joy con listen these the pro controller is like super mushy listen.

So pro controller is more cheaper than joy con. I was like thinking is this a knockoff one is this an official Nintendo controller. Honestly I'm pretty sure I'm gonna send this back in and exchange it for another set of joy con.

Hopefully next set of joy con, doesn't mess up with that. The joy thingy joystick see you're getting it mixed up Nintendo so bad with name thing is this joy cons, joystick controller.

I'm getting all mixed up. Anyways hopefully the next joy cons doesn't just immediately keep going the left and the last longer.

I don't know. So maybe increase the durability with this increase a lot of things with this. The button tactile feedback, the motion controls just the d-pad the there's are so much there.

So much it's bad. So who is the pro controller really for just thinking about it.

I think maybe the pro controller is for people who normally play xbox and playstation and are trying to make the switch to Nintendo.

The joy cons is pretty small although. It's not that much smaller than a pro controller anyways.

If you have bigger hands and stuff you might want to go with a pro controller. But pretty much everything else joy cons are better in my personal opinion.

I will leave links in the article to Amazon listings for both of them. You guys can buy either one if you like and so yeah I guess that's it. If you want to see more another review nintendo switch game, you can subscribed, see you guys later.
