5 TIPS you NEED to KNOW before playing Hades on Nintendo SwitchWe're talking about my new obsession hades on the nintendo switch. We're gonna get in there. Because i have five tips new player. Tips that i think will help you on your journey in the wonderful world of Hades. So just a little bit hades is a roguelike kind of diablo-esque game that already came out on the nintendo switch and has been out on steam.
1) Talk To Everybody
I wanted to talk about some five tips that i think will benefit any new player. So the first and number one tip is yes you can't be shy you have to talk to everybody you see in the underworld. Everybody they'll have exclamation points under their uh above their head when you're playing go and talk to them all.
So there's one here and they move around sometimes you can talk to hades the builder. He'll show you what you need to do. So make sure you talk to everyone. Because they will help you, sometimes they'll give you things. But they will unlock things in your underworld. For example if you talk to certain people, you'll get the mirror.

2) Get Mirror
The second tip for a new player Hades is get this mirror unlocked as fast as possible by talking to people. because once you get in where you can upgrade your permanent stats and it's super important that you unlock. I recommend on two skills right away, death defiance ability and defiance stubborn okay. So the first one is death defiance that ability will bring you back to life with half of your health if you die. So you need to get that ranked up right away.
So as you can see i have it ranked at one time. So when i die i get auto generated back to life with 50 of my health now. I have 285 drops purple drops then i'm trying to get the next rank which is 500. So i can get be brought back to life twice. But these are your skills and you really really need to unlock this one as soon as possible right.

The next one you want to get after you've got that one is catholic vitality that skill is super important in the mirror and that will give you back a small amount of your hearts when you exit a chamber per rank. It might not seem much. So i'm getting three hearth or three lives back.
But it helps a lot because if you go through eight rooms you know
that's 24 hearts, you can potentially gain back.
3) Get Catholic Keys
Next tip is to get catholic keys. These are these little bad boys here. They will unlock all the next levels of character skills. I'm still trying to collect another set of skills. So once you click on that it will open up another level of skills for you to actually enhance your character. So getting those keys are super important and you can get them in the world by each.
So the dungeons are randomly generated the rooms and sometimes they'll
have different things inside of it that. You will use back at the underworld
and catholic keys are one of them. So that's my number three tip collect those.
So that you can get your skills unlocked in the tree in the mirror so that is
number three okay.
4) Gifts System
The next one you want to do is gifts. There is a gift system in the game. So when you're out in the world you want to be giving getting gifts. They're in specific chambers. So that's where you have to make your choice. It's usually on when you exit a chamber you have two choices. You can go for you know catholic keys, you can go for gifts you can go for improved health, you can do those things. So the choice is there. But you should give your first first gift to skelly or you can give them to anybody else. Because they give you stuff. They will give you like extra lives.

They will give you unlocks in your underworld base. So talk to
everybody, but give them gifts. So our allows you to talk to everybody and you
can scroll through it. If you have a gift, if you've collected a little vial of
gift right nectar. Because the nectar of the gods. You can do a r trigger. I
think it's what is it called. You can give him a gift which is really cool. So
that's number four give gifts when you find them. The final gift final gift
yeah my gift to you.
5) Get Construction
The final tip for Hades new players is out in the world you will get construction kind of. You'll get like gems and rarities. You can use those to upgrade your base in your underworld. Why is that important? Well because it unlocks rooms.
So you go to the sky once you have enough. So the work orders is
actually legitimately things in your room that will can kind of help you like
get enhancements back to new mpcs that you can do stuff.
But you can also do some home decor. For example you can make your place look a little bit pretty cosmetics right. They don't have a real benefit. But work orders do.
So for example one underworld fountains purified, so provide 10 more hertz than usual. So that's a great one to get. Once you get that the rooms will open and here you go i've opened the bar the restaurant the lounge for people to chill.
But what that gave me access to was this fine gentleman over here. You can go talk to and you can trade and you have different things. You can trade. So nectar's i can trade five keys for nectars and nectars of the god that's what you use to give gifts to people. Like i mentioned before then you can get titan's blood.

You know or catholic keys, you can trade instead of upgrading base. You can trade all your gems in to get the catholic keys. So there's a really cool system there. So i really really can't recommend enough doing these five things. So what are the five things is talk to everyone they will give you insights, they will help you. They'll lock things like the mirror. Once you have the mirror you go in and you start unlocking the death defiance ability and the abilities that generate health.
It's super important. Because you'll need that you get your catholic key. So you can unlock more skills in your mirror which is very important then gifts when you get gifts give them out. Make sure those gifts are being given out. Because you never know what you're going to get it's like a box of chocolates and then upgrade your underworld now. You can don't have to do these in in the order that they're in the game or the order that i gave you.
But these are things, i think definitely one and two unlocking a mirror
and getting those skills is super important. Because once you go out into the world
like i am now. It gets really challenging, so you're going to need to
constantly upgrade your skills get more health have that ability to come back
to life which is super important.
So i really hope these tips have helped you. Because for me, these are my learnings after playing the game Hades probably for about five hours now and i've got more i'd like to share with you.
